please fix this. maybel was asking for items that are millions of sp. the last quest asked for items both of them over 4 million. thank you. and this is for all of them not just one quest giver

i just had a quest giver ask for 45 million sp. 22 mill, 20 mill, 50 mill

And why is Maybel asking for a Tiffany which is a cash shop item? Or a The Red Candle which is a loyalty shop item for pages of wonder quests?

I’ve only been able to complete a couple of kumos quests today as all the rest have asked for items ranging from 4m up to around 40m

Same issue. It looks like the change occured later in the day, since I completed most of my quests shortly after midnight server time and they seemed fine at the time.

Yeah my quests have been (generally) fine until today. I didnt check just after midnight, only a few hours ago.

Maybel was perfectly o.k. today - I didn't have problems with her yesterday, either.

But today Pete is going crazy for me with Cash Shop items and other stuff in the millions! I had to cancel all 5 quests!

This never happens on Subeta! Why not use the same parameters? Like Quentin asks for holiday items, but they don't exceed 50k.

...lol, Mauve is next. He actually is the most impertinent one. I finished a single of his quests with items only costing 125k (in comparison of the other 4 asking for many, many millions) - of course he only gave me 50 k for that (plus a 2k r55 item 5k in user shops)!

What's up today? Feels like we are going in circles with that quest problem.

Next one is Rum, who starts off asking for a Collection item! And again and a Holiday Shop item without price, because it is not in usershops.

I don't believe it: 1st Wizard quest and he asks for 2 Donation items!!! Only cost 45 mio - easily covered with the 25k he usually rewards.

The header claims, 40/24 quests completed, but I barely managed to do 26, 1 of which I shouldn't have, because it was a loss.

I hope, tomorrow will be better and not just a huge waste of time.

I was able to complete maybe ten quests yesterday - I thought maybe I was just having terrible luck. However, every NPC has been out of pocket today, too, so I kept somewhat track of the silly things they were asking for (today only), with rough price notes, though of course you can hover for specifics. Lots of cash shop items, retired items, etc.

Mabel: I completed one out of four quests. The four I declined asked for the following items.

Alexander: One completed quest, four declined.

Pete: Mostly behaved himself today. Four completed quests, one incomplete.

Maleria: Not only did she not behave, I feel like I am owed damage pay for the phsycic damage she caused by asking for a broken lucent. One quest completed, Three incomplete, and one somewhere in the middle, mentioned at the end.

Mauve: Mauve came with the audacity today, finally matched his actions to his personality. Zero completed quests.

Saggitarius: A gentleman only one absurd request (though he did have one extra in the final notes)

Rumi: Quite frankly, she's always a little out of pocket with her requests so I expect it from her, but she continued on. One completed quest, four declined.

Wizard: Thee quests declined.

And then a small aside of a few other items: Legacy site shows when an item is from an alternative shop - like Esthers, Zombie den, Masquerade, etc. Kumos (unless I'm overlooking it, which is entirely possible) does not. So there are a few quests that I consider completable and reasonable, but kumos doesn't quite have the functionality that legacy does to make it easy to know, so they look misleading.
Just for posterity, the items requested that fell under this category today are:

Gonna add my name to the list of people who got absurdly expensive NPC requests. Cash shop items, retired plot items, loyalty shop items... Yikes!

Considering the reward is not worth it, I found weird that the sticker lady asked for which is currently retired with only two units selling for 100,000 sP or 5,000,000 sP. Luckily it was my last quest and I'm glad these NPCs didn't ask for even more expensive and scarce items.

I've only done Maybel quests so far today but all quests were for millions (including a 50 million sp item)

Edited to add - Same situation with Librarian quests. Not going to even bother trying the others :(

I was too curious, to find out, whether anything had changed over night and tried a Maybel quest this morning.

Right away she asked for a collection item, which was "only" 480k in user shops. The other a not usable Melody item still readily available.

The reward was surprisingly good, still a loss though, of course: 433,923 sP, 3 New Year Tokens, no items.

While I think it is o.k, to bring special items back to their worth in price by "dumping" them as quest fodder, Keith, you need to put a limit on the price quests can ask for!

At least it's solved. Kinda frustrating giving feedback on Kumos if it's gonna be seen and resolved outside of Kumos. But thank you, I also accidentally stumbled on it, don't know how, both forums already looking confusing enough to me. Maybe Keith is also confused.

Seems like the expensive quests are back. May just be a fluke, there were only these 2 I came across.

Glad to see other people have noticed this too. I'm refraining from doing kumos quests for the forseeable future, because one quest robbed me of like 2mil sP, and as someone who can rarely restrain themselves to save up 6 or 7mil, it's harsh. I also saw someone else pointed out that it's a slower system, I simply agree. Hopefully it all gets sorted out. Cheers.

I have been avoiding quests here because they just aren't worth the time. I am also wondering why the item selection cannot be the same as legacy Subeta. Those quests work fine and I see no reason to change the item selection. Here almost every quest I've tried has a few people who have hundreds of the requested items for far too much sp. I don't see that often on the legacy site. :(

It is still a problem. Saggitarius just asked twice for the same trading card that costs twice the money reward he gives.

I also agree with that, and it seems even the NPC shops have a different item pool here, yet the quests NPCs barely ask for them.

I had to cancel 4 out of 5 Saggi quests due to expensive items requested. Kumos quests continue to let me down. Legacy quests never let me down, nor do I ever have to cancel quests on Legacy. The item pool is perfect on Legacy - please copy and mimic on Kumos.

The new Wizard used to ask for items 1-10K each and gave a 50 point token for each quest. But the last 3 days that has changed. He is now asking for items 10-40K each and not giving a token for each quest. Tonight I lost SPs & only got 3 tokens out of 5 quests. I'm wondering if his are worth while doing any more.

Just did 5 more kumos wiz quests and it was even worse. Hardly made any SPs, had to give up on a quest because he asked for an item over 1 million & I didn't get 1 single token! Not worthwhile doing these quests any more. And Wiz was the only quest I was doing on kumos because the rest are awful.

Wow, the subeta wiz just keeps getting worse. Tonight he was asking for items 30-40K each. I lost 19K, only got 1 token and had to give up on a quest because he wanted 80K worth of items. That's it, not doing the kumos quests any more. :(
